ACCM faculty members and trainees in Clinical Research have access to core facilities and support that serve as a comprehensive resource for planning, conducting, and analyzing data for research endeavors. Clinical Research is supported by research nurse coordinators, research coordinators, a biostatistician, and a database manager. Areas of active investigation span multiple perioperative disciplines including outcomes after cardiac surgery, pediatrics, critical care, and pain management. The research structure provides ample support for investigator and industry-supported studies, including database acquisition and access, administrative assistance and IRB submission support.
