Jennifer Snider began her career as a critical care nurse before earning her master’s degree in nursing at Rush University in Chicago. She chose to enter the field of pediatric nursing because she had an interest in anatomy and physiology and was intrigued by the unique way that children see the world. In 2014, she began working as a nurse practitioner in the Johns Hopkins PICU, where she provides direct patient care to critically ill children. She likes being able to treat and interact with a variety of different patients at Johns Hopkins and values the high level of teamwork. She also finds that the challenging clinical environment makes her work very interesting. Ms. Snider strives to provide excellent care to her patients and aims to continually improve her skills by taking advantage of the many learning opportunities available to her. During her free time, she enjoys gardening and traveling with her family.
