Dr. Robert Thomsen is an associate professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine and surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His area of clinical expertise is anesthesiology.

He is the American Society of Anesthesiologists Director from Maryland. He is also the director of manpower and Vice Chair for Human Resources and Patient Experience in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Thomsen earned his M.D. and completed a residency in anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
