Dr. Rashmi Prasad is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management Division. She completed her medical training in anesthesiology at the Kasturba Medical College in India. She was then practicing anesthesiologist in India for four years before coming the United States. Dr. Prasad then completed her anesthesia residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and then her fellowship in regional anesthesia and acute pain at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Prasad joined Johns Hopkins in 2014 and currently serves as co-director of Regional Anesthesia for the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center.
