Dr. Anna Gitterman is an instructor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include routine and high-risk obstetric anesthesiology. She is passionate about medical education and serves as one of the Johns Hopkins anesthesiology residency assistant program directors.
Dr. Gitterman received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and her M.D. from the University of Maryland. She completed both her residency and obstetric anesthesiology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
