Please join us in recognizing and congratulating Dr. Renee Blanding as the recipient of this year’s William Baumgartner MD Physician of the Year Award for Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. This is a tremendous and well-deserved honor.

Dr. Blanding is the Vice President for Medical Affairs at Bayview and a practicing anesthesiologist in ACCM. The award presentation recognized her outstanding leadership, thoughtfulness, and poise during the COVID pandemic. I am sure that all of us who have had the privilege of working with Renee will agree and are excited for her.
