Jennifer Hannon is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) currently working for the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine at the East Baltimore campus location. Her areas of focus as a CRNA include colorectal surgery, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), plastics/gender affirmation surgery, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery/ENT, and trauma surgery.

Jennifer has been a member of the Johns Hopkins Healthcare team since 2002, when she began working in the medical intensive care unit caring for critically ill patients. She then went on to pursue her Nurse Anesthesia degree and graduated in 2010 with honors from Boston College. After graduation, she returned to Johns Hopkins University as a CRNA.

With more than 10 years of experience, Jennifer, now a senior CRNA, has earned Gold Star Service Excellence Awards from patients and their families, as well as from her peers, including the “Friend of the PACU” Award. She was nominated for a National Daisy Award in 2019. Recently, Jennifer was recommended and appointed to the Advanced Practice Advisory Council within the Johns Hopkins Healthcare System.

When not providing quality anesthesia, Jennifer enjoys swimming and relaxing with her husband, their four children, and two dogs, among the rivers of Anne Arundel County.
