Dipika Patel, DNP, CRNA, is a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) for the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine (ACCM) at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dipika completed her undergraduate bachelor of science in nursing degree at Towson University. She began working at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2010 as a nurse extern and subsequently as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit. After that, she moved to New York City and worked at Morgan Stanley Children’s hospital in the pediatric intensive care unit. About a year later, she transitioned to the adult side, working at New York-Presbyterian Columbia Medical Center in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit (CTICU). After four years in CTICU as a clinical registered nurse III, she completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Pennsylvania. Dipika has excelled academically and held leadership positions, including president of the Graduate Student Organization.
Dipika completed a full circle when she began working as a CRNA at the same place she was introduced to this career, Johns Hopkins Hospital.
