Dr. Brian Cho is an assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is also the assistant director of Patient Safety and Clinical Quality for the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
Originally a Los Angeles native, he received his undergraduate degree in both molecular and cellular biology and economics from Johns Hopkins University. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and subsequently completed his residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Cho’s research is focused on investigating patient outcomes and blood utilization. His recent publications have focused on analyzing the effects of patient blood management programs and optimizing blood utilization in the perioperative period.
