Marek Mirski, MD PhD & Austen Lefebvre, MD have received a continuation award from the Defense Advanced Research Agency (DARPA) for their Brain-Computer-Interface Project, focused on non-invasive, wireless, real-time (<10msec lag time) acquisition of extremely restricted neuronal activity (<1mm3). The goal is to enable thought-induced rapid activation of external medical and defense-related devices. The award is for $420,000, above the initial phase $900,000 granted in 2019.

Courtney Robertson, MD completed her term as President of the National Neurotrauma Society (NNS), by presiding over the NNS Symposium June 25-29 in Atlanta, GA.
