- Discuss testing for malignant hyperthermia susceptibility, and synthesize a rational approach for testing based on risk factors and history.
- Describe a plan for caring for the MH-susceptible patient having a surgical procedure.
- Verbalize initial steps in caring for the patient with a clinical suspicion of malignant hyperthermia.
- Address some initial concerns frequently raised by callers to the MH hotline.
