Nurse Practitioner

Pediatric critical care medicine was a natural transition for Christina when she embarked on her Advanced Practice career, after spending many years as a bedside nurse caring for the Pediatric Oncology population.  It appealed to her interests in science and research, incorporating some artform, and allowed opportunities for collaboration and teamwork. Her doctoral study pertained to mobilization and delirium in the pediatric critical care population and her scholarly interests gravitate towards sedation management and delirium prevention.  In her free time, she coaches CrossFit, spends time with her family and dogs, and enjoys any opportunity to be on or near the water!

Education

Christina received her BSN from University of Pennsylvania, her MSN from the University of Maryland, and her DNP from the University of Maryland.
