He completed his undergraduate nursing education at The Pennsylvania State University. After receiving a BS in nursing, he worked in the Emergency Department at Lancaster Regional Medical Center for 2 years, where he also completed his trauma certification. He then took a position at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. While there, he completed his Certification for Critical Care Nursing and became an active member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. After leaving Hershey Medical Center, he went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing at Georgetown University and entered into a career as a CRNA. During his clinical rotations at Georgetown University Hospital, he was awarded a grant for clinical excellence.
As a provider at Johns Hopkins, Christopher specializes in pediatric anesthesia as well as neurosurgery, colorectal surgery, and electrophysiology. He is also an active member in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and assists in student mentoring and education.
