Karen Katrivesis, MD

Dr. Karen Katrivesis is a board-certified anesthesiologist and intensivist at the University of California Irvine. She earned her medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. She completed a residency in anesthesiology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington,D.C. and an anesthesiology critical care fellowship at the University of California Irvine in Orange, CA. She currently works in the operating room as an anesthesiologist and in the surgical intensive care unit and cardiovascular intensive care unit. Her research interests include perioperative management of patients with pulmonary emboli, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and enhancing anesthesiology resident intra-operative education.
