Dr. Hensley competed her M.D. degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She completed residency program in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, VA and cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Hensley’s quality improvement and research interests are in patient blood management, particularly in cardiac surgical patients.
