R. Scott Stephens directs Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Critical Care at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He specializes in critical care for patients with ARDS, septic shock, ECMO, and complications following stem cell and organ transplants. He is a recognized expert in managing life-threatening oncologic emergencies and advanced cardiac surgical ICU care. A member of the Miller Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence, Dr. Stephens is a fellow of the American Thoracic Society and active in several leading critical care organizations.
