Hyun Yi (Jacqualine) Woo is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, under the Department of Neurology. She is a physician from South Korea, trained in Hungary, and recently completed her Master of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She also earned certificates in Public Health Informatics and Clinical Trials. Jacqualine brings a distinctly international perspective, with clinical and research experiences in South Korea, Hungary, Italy, UK, and United States. At Hopkins, she is involved in multidisciplinary research integrating neurology, critical care, and data-driven health solutions. She has participated in health tech industry projects, international case competitions, and global academic collaborations. With a growing interest in aspace medicine and health systems operating in extreme environments, Dr. Woo aims to leverage her diverse experiences to improve patient outcomes in high-acuity and resource-limited settings.
