Diane Alejo
Senior Manager of Cardiac Surgery IT

Diane Alejo earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She has worked at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine since 1984, currently serving as Director of Information Technology for the Department of Surgery. In this role, she leads IT initiatives to support surgical care and research. She is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Maryland Cardiac Surgery Quality Initiative (MCSQI), where she focuses on improving cardiac surgical outcomes through data-driven collaboration.
