Jaime Doroba began her bedside nursing career as a critical care nurse in the Johns Hopkins PICU in 2010.  During that time, she was also member of the Pediatric Critical Care Transport team.  Since 2020, she has been a Nurse Practitioner in the PCICU. She chose to continue her career at Johns Hopkins because of the challenging clinical environment, vast opportunities, and investment from others in her knowledge and learning.  She also values the dedication to her patients from nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, nurse practitioners, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.  The most rewarding part of her time at Hopkins is watching patients grow over the years.

Ms. Doroba feels her experience as both a bedside and transport nurse, as well as her experience with medical mission trips in Haiti have helped her to become well rounded in her approach to her patients and their families.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with family and friends.

Education

Ms. Doroba earned her BSN from La Salle University in 2010 and her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019.
