Dr. Joann Hunsberger is an assistant professor anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her expertise is in the field of pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Hunsberger attended medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine, followed by a residency in anesthesiology from Johns Hopkins. After her residency, Dr. Hunsberger completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology and is a board certified pediatric anesthesiologist. She also holds a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance from Temple University. Dr. Hunsberger’s academic interests include pediatric pain as well as religion and spirituality in the perioperative patient.
