Dr. Alyson Russo is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical expertise is in the use of regional anesthesia and neuroanesthesia. Dr. Russo completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, then attended medical school at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. She went on to complete an internship at MacNeal Hospital in Chicago, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Russo’s interests include pain control in the neurosurgical population with a particular interest in the spine patient population. Outside of her clinical role, Dr. Russo is an active member of her church community.
