Paige McMurtrie, DNP, CRNA, is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Clinical Lead for Zayed 3 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Paige earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University (2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University at Buffalo (2018). After graduating, she began her nursing career in the Weinberg Intensive Care Unit at Johns Hopkins. She later returned to the University at Buffalo to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia. Her doctoral work, which focused on preoperative anxiety and its impact on the surgical experience, earned the Ellen Volpe Memorial Award.
In 2023, Paige rejoined Johns Hopkins as a CRNA. She is the Clinical Lead for the Zayed 3 operating rooms, specializing in neurosurgery, trauma, spine, and interventional procedures. In addition to her clinical role, she serves on the Education Team and Orientation Committee, supporting the professional growth of both new and experienced CRNAs. She is also an active member of the CRNA-MD Task Force and serves as a mentor to student nurse anesthetists.
Outside of work, Paige enjoys traveling with friends and family, gardening, golfing, and tackling the daily crossword puzzle.
