Dr. Ed Nguyen is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Nguyen currently serves as the Medical Directory of Johns Hopkins Ambulatory Anesthesia Services and Division Chief of the Ambulatory Anesthesia Division. Dr. Nguyen attended Harvard University for his undergraduate studies and then the University of California, San Francisco for his medical degree.  After an internship year in the University of Maryland Medical System, Dr. Nguyen completed his anesthesia training and was Chief Resident at Johns Hopkins.  He has extensive experience in the delivery of ambulatory anesthesia through his prior work with Anne Arundel Medical Center.
