Dr. Archana Hudson is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is an attending physician in the ambulatory anesthesia division and serves as the medical director of quality and safety for the Johns Hopkins Greenspring Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Dr. Hudson received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. She earned her ScM degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and her M.D. from University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Maryland and fellowship in regional and acute pain management at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Hudson joined the Johns Hopkins facility in 2019.

Dr. Hudson’s interests include quality, safety and efficiency improvement in the outpatient surgical setting, as well as utilization of opioid sparing anesthetic technique with regional anesthesia.
