Samuel Vanderhoek, MD was promoted to Director of Pediatric Perioperative Ambulatory Services for the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. In addition to continued optimization of quality and safety for pediatric ambulatory anesthesia and perioperative care, Dr. Vanderhoek will work with our pediatric surgeons to develop new service lines, liaise with finance and administrative teams to ensure cost-effectiveness, and optimize patient selection for the ASC setting.
