nbohn1@jhmi.edu
Since being hospitalized as a 5-year-old child, Nate Bohn wanted to work in the medical. He subsequently chose a career in nursing, which he enjoys because it is very patient-focused. He is a frontline provider who takes care of the PICU patients on a daily basis. He finds the investigative aspects of his job very interesting. He and a collaborative team of care providers must evaluate all of the signs, symptoms, and test data to make a diagnosis and determine a treatment plan. His work is very rewarding because children tend to be very resilient, and he is able to see rapid responses to treatment. In the future he hopes to become involved in quality improvement and research projects and eventually earn a doctorate degree. In his spare time, Mr. Bohn enjoys travel and has visited places around the globe.
Education
Mr. Bohn attended Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, where he earned his BSN in 2007. Subsequently, after working at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for several years, he earned an MS in Nursing at Wright State in 2013.[/wr_text][/wr_column][/wr_row]
