Dr. Philip Carullo is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an attending anesthesiologist in the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, and he provides anesthesia for pediatric patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. He is also a member of the pediatric regional anesthesia team.

Dr Carullo’s research interests include technology and curriculum development, as well as understanding health-care disparities in patients with developmental disabilities. He is also interested in fellow education and serves as the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship at John’s Hopkins.

Dr. Carullo received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, he completed his residency in anesthesia at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is board certified in both anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology.
