Dr. Kate Blenner is an Instructor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She serves as the Director of Quality, Safety and Service.
Dr. Blenner’s clinical areas of interest are in quality measurement, patient safety, systems and process improvement, and defining value in anesthetic care.
Dr. Blenner received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University and her M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA. She conducted her residency in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Blenner is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety.
