Kristina Medina Shaver, CRNA, MSN, received her bachelor of science in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Maryland. She obtained her bachelor of science in nursing from Marymount University. After working for 3 years as an ICU nurse at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC, she became an acute pain nurse just prior to entering nurse anesthesia school. She attended Old Dominion University in Virginia Beach, VA. Kristina enjoys working in all the various clinical realms and is an active member of the colorectal, electrophysiology, and orthopedic cohorts.
