The Johns Hopkins Hospital Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Advisory Council has presented the April APP Appreciation Award to lead pediatric certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) Kate Vaughn at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. The award recognizes clinical excellence and the embodiment of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

“As our lead pediatric CRNA, Kate has immense impact not only in our pediatric perioperative sphere but also as a leader and role model across The Johns Hopkins Hospital, always inspiring others to achieve their best,” says Sapna Kudchadkar, anesthesiologist-in-chief at the Children’s Center. “We are honored to work side-by-side with her in the perioperative continuum and delighted that she is being recognized with this award.”
