Kavan Clifford, MD, PhD, Instructor, Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine

Dr. Kavan Clifford is an instructor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management Division. He completed his medical training and residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine earning his PhD in the Graduate Department of Neuroscience. His doctoral dissertation was entitled “Cellular Mechanisms of Paclitaxel-induced Peripheral Neuropathy.” Dr. Clifford is currently completing the Regional Anesthesia Fellowship advanced training program in which he is a faculty-fellow hybrid.
