Marie N. Hanna, MBBCh, MD, Associate Professor; Chief, Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine

Dr. Gabriel Hernandez is an instructor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management Division. Dr. Hernandez completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland College Park and went on to University of Michigan Medical School where he graduated in 2011. He has enjoyed working in a lab that focused on mammalian physiology and pharmacology, as well as interpreting at the university health center for campus workers who spoke primarily Spanish. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Maine Medical Center, an affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine, in 2014. Dr. Hernandez is currently completing the Regional Anesthesia Fellowship advanced training program in which he is a faculty-fellow hybrid.
