Bommy Hong Mershon, MD, Assistant Professor, Pediatric Anesthesia; Assistant Director of Patient Safety and Clinical Quality

Dr. Bommy Hong Mershon is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Mershon serves as the Asistant Director of Patient Safety and Clinical Quality for the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. She is an expert in both adult general and pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Mershon attended medical school at New York Medical College then completed a residency in pediatrics at Georgetown University Hospital, and anesthesia residency at Johns Hopkins. After her residencies, Dr. Mershon completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Merson’s research interests include patient safety and quality as well as physician wellness and work-life balance. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiology and Society of Pediatric Anesthesia.
