Kathryn Rosenblatt, MD, Instructor, Division of Neuroanesthesia

Dr. Kate Rosenblatt is an instructor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include anesthesiology, neurocritical care and intraoperative neuromonitoring. Dr. Rosenblatt received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University. She earned her M.D. from St. George’s University. She completed a residency in anesthesiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University and performed a combined fellowship in neuroanesthesia and neurocritical care at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Rosenblatt is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Neurocritical Care Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care. She serves on the Communications Committee for the latter and was elected Secretary of the Maryland Society of Anesthesiologists. Dr. Rosenblatt’s educational focus is to advance the art and science of the care of the neurologically impaired patient through clinical instruction and hands-on training in perioperative neuroscience.
