Dora Syin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine and the Division of Adult Critical Care at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her medical school, residency, and fellowship training at Johns Hopkins. Prior to residency, she gained experience in surgical outcomes and health services research during her research fellowship with the Quality and Safety Research Group and the Center for Surgical Outcomes Research. Her current interests include clinical education in perioperative medicine and surgical critical care, expanding critical care services and outreach, improving ICU utilization, and enhancing operational workflow in the perioperative setting. She is board certified in Anesthesiology as well as Critical Care Medicine.
